Community Service Rules

 

 

1. Show up on time for dates that have been pre-arranged.

 

2. If unable to report at assigned date/time, call the community site and Peer Court.  NOT SHOWING UP WILL RESULT IN THOSE SHIFT HOURS BEING ADDED ON.  Only emergencies are acceptable.

 

3. Failure to do the assigned work or failure to abide by job site policies will be reported to the Youth/Peer Court office.  (244-7194)

 

4. If changes must be made to your schedule, discuss with appropriate supervisor at the community site and call the Peer Court office.

 

5. No smoking or chewing – SITES ARE TOBACCO, ALCOHOL, AND DRUG FREE.

 

6. Dress appropriately.  Follow any instructions on the assignment sheet.

 

7. No swearing, no friends, and no phone calls at the job site.

 

8. ASSIGNMENTS ARE MANDATORY – NOT OPTIONAL.  THIS IS A COURT ORDER.

 

9. Have a positive attitude!

 

10. Hours/activities must be documented and signed by your Supervisor after each     workday.               NO DOCUMENTATION – NO HOURS!!

 

11. Please turn in, fax or mail timesheet after the completion of all hours to the Youth Violence Prevention Council Office.

 

12. It is possible to change your community service assignment, contact the Youth/Peer Court at     244-7194.  Leave a phone number message  where you can be reached.
